SHRWALKING ® healthy activities which can accomplish weight loss involve a diet of one nutritive meal per day, consisting of soup or salad, a main course of poultry, fish, or meat, and a vegetable and/or potato. Occasional light snacks, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, or desserts are also allowable. To avoid dehydration, participants should consume a minimum of one-half gallon of water and/or low-calorie energy drinks per day. A critical, and perhaps the simplest of SHRWALKING ® healthy activities involves walking for one hour per day. The walk can take place at any time. Other acceptable calorie burning activities could include running, rowing, swimming, jogging, etc.
